thoughts on internet videos

The world is changing. Long gone are the days where simple cable dictated our entertainment options. Instead we have discovred a new realm of entertainment on the internet. Now anybody the little man has the opportunity to have an audience of millions! Although this new form of media is taking the world by storm we must ask ourselves if this is really the best thing for us. Should we really be innovating to make new media that progress the dumbing down and laziness of the US. I mean cant we do something more productive with our time than sit around and watch other dumb idiots do idiotic things. The seduction of viral videos is intense even I myself find that I am easily sucked into watching videos of stupidity. Look Im not saying that we should stray away from this revolution of media, all I am saying is that we should be wary becuase lets face it we are the laziest nation in the world. We use more, eat more, expect more for less, and we are fat. Im just saying that if we dont watch it the internet combined with our ever increasing sedentary lifestyle, has the potential to turn us into fat, slimy, obese, gelatin-like, slug people.

Dear Hillary Clinton

Dear Hillary,

Have you really campaigned hard for mommy? Have you really answered the tough questions? I say no. You promote your moms opinions, emotions, and need i say tears with such vigor that you can impress the average person, but when it comes down to it you are scared. When someone asks you a personal question you have every right not to answer. What you must realize is that just because you have the right to refuse to answer question, does not mean that you wont look like a jerk and a coward to any person with a brain. So please do us all a favor Ms. Clinton, when you step into the political arena remember to grow a spine and not back out of question that is personal. Or maybe your mom can just cry some more in order to generate more votes. Then you wont have to waste the valuable time of college students and get back to what you do best, denying small chidren interviews and riding the coat tails of your mom and dad.

Sincerely,
Everyone

Life After College Football

Well ten years has come and gone. I was fortunate to be granted a college carreer. It was a very bittersweet experience i suppose. Its not so much the practice and hitting and rah rah stuff i miss. it the comraderie and the bonds that you form with people over five years that i miss. its the joking around on the plane rides, eating all the food you want, and knowing that you belong in a group. Now all of sudden i find myself very much alone in some ways. Gone are the days where you find yourself as part of group tired as hell with your buddies during off season conditioning. Now when i go to the gym its by myself, i know nobody. Its wierd how you can feel alone even though there are a bunch of other sweaty random people around you in the gym. And its wierd saying "i used to play for...", instead of "i play for..." oh well what can you do besides enjoy the memories of something that identified you as a person for so many years. Evenstill, the feeling of being known as someone that used to play for a college eats at me daily, the only option is to forge a new identity and reinvent yourself as an indavidual instead of being part of some collective group.

well thats about all i have to say, so if anyone actually reads this let me know what you think.
